Following the appointment by the Township Committee of Paul A. Gallo to fill the vacancy created by Jason Gareis' resignation, the Cranford Democratic Committee voted unanimously to have Commissioner Paul Gallo join Mayor Brian Andrews on the Democratic ticket for the upcoming November election.

"We are excited to have two experienced and qualified candidates running for the Township Committee," said Cranford Democratic Committee Chairman, Ryan Cooper. Both Mayor Andrews and Commissioner Gallo have a vision to keep the progress going in Cranford and they are excited to share their ideas to address Cranford's most pressing issues to the voters. I have the utmost confidence in this team and look forward to maintaining our Democratic majority on the Township Committee."
