Democrats March in Memorial Day Parade

Cranford Democrats marched in Cranford's Memorial Day Parade on Monday alongside Congressional candidate Tom Malinowski. Cranford was blessed with clear weather for the parade and thousands of residents turned out to march or watch.Thanks to everyone who came out and helped us show our appreciation to the men and women who serve and have served our country in the armed forces, and to remember to 86 servicemen from Cranford who made the ultimate sacrifice for their nation.US Army Veteran James Silkensen was Grand Marshall of the parade. As in years past, the parade went from the Community Center on Walnut Avenue to Memorial Park on Springfield Avenue.
